Healing touch

After our fellowship meal at church today, all of Ian's stored up energy came surging forth with glee as he made laps with great gusto around the large meeting room.

As most 3 year old boys are wont to do, he fell down during one sprinting attempt, srapping his bare knees on the carpet. He dusted himself off quickly and got right back to the business at hand.

About 20 minutes later, on our drive home, he realized that one knee wasn't feeling so grand and whimpered, "Knee huwt. Want tapstick."

Which made us giggle because it has been many months since we used Chapstick to help heal his dry, chapped, overly sucked thumb.

Not having Chapstick at my disposal, I decided to lay a tissue on top of it and declared it to feel better.

He seemed agreeable to it and we've heard nothing about it since.

Note to self: Add tissue to the "Owey Arsenol" list, right after kisses and Chapstick.
