We cracked open the History for Little Pilgrims book today, for the first time since the beginning of summer. I lamely left off in the middle of a chapter, which was explaining the Revolutionary war. So the girls crawl up on hubby's knee this evening and as he begins reading..."After the war..." and to stir their memory, asks, "What war was this?"
My 7yo contemplates a second and says, "The Resurrection War".
Uh. No, not that one.
Not one to give up, she gives it another guess. "The Rejection War"!
Spot on!
I see a bright future in International Relations for this girl!
