A few weeks back, on Memorial Day, we decided to go to the UC Davis Arboretum before an evening BBQ in the backyard. The grounds were gorgeous, and we had such a fun time together.
We "discovered" a new tree - the California Buckeye. Beautiful!
It's a half hour drive from where we live, but I'm going to try to make the trip out there a few times this summer for our nature walks. There is so much to see and the kids really enjoyed it. It's open year round and the best part - FREE! :)
